Jean-Claude Bélégou diversions : L'NVITÉE (the guest) 2023

 

" Come when you want, tomorrow if you want, as I wrote to you I am free as air! On the day of your arrival we will not take photographs, you will make contact with space, we will look at images, we will go to see the sea or the forest, we will talk by the fire.
Then I give you carte blanche for the duration of your first stay but no less than two days of shooting and rather three or four, it's up to you to see also according to your availability and your rhythm (Yes there are three cats, two of which are very shy females. they are my guardian angels). Indeed, don't load too much but bring warm clothes anyway, the house has a volume of 600 m3 it's difficult to heat. And cover you if we go outside. For nude poses, I reassure you, there are one or two rooms that are easier to keep at a respectable temperature. And bring a few dresses, skirts, tops...
The images we make will depend on the light, on our inspiration. Let's start on a free, spontaneous, somewhat improvised basis. It feels good from time to time to start."

Photographed for a long time, over the hours, the days, the lights, an obstinate, patient, meticulous exploration of the body, of the face of a model always the same between autumn and winter.
